Obituary

Isaura Luna, de 83 años, esposa del difunto Maximiliano Rodríguez López y residente de Panorama City, CA, falleció el sábado 16 de enero de 2021 en Mission Community Hospital en Panorama City. Nacida el 17 de junio de 1937 en la Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala, era hija del fallecido José Pilar Luna y María Demetria Ortiz de Luna.

A Isaura le sobreviven sus cinco hijos, Angela Hernandez (Jesús) de Pacoima, CA, Lucila Cali (Francisco) de Guatemala, Joana Muñoz (José Lorenzo) de Van Nuys, CA, Miguel Rodríguez Luna (Froilana) de Parksley, VA, y Pedro Rodríguez Luna (Mayra) de Painter; hermanas, María Cruz Luna de Rodríguez y María Delores Luna Ortiz, ambas de Guatemala; nietos, Juan, Virginia y Brenda Muñoz, Adrián y Estuardo Cali, Berenice Hernández, Sharon Panuco, Claudia Rodríguez-Roblero, Carina y Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, y Osman y María Santizo; bisnietos; Brittany y Mateo Cali, Victoria, Nathan y Aaron Estrada Muñoz, Isabella y Sofia Panuco, Eduardo Cruz, Jesus Rodriguez, Jr. y Daner, Henry y Heidi Roblero; así como innumerables miembros de la familia extendida.

Se llevará a cabo una misa de entierro cristiano en la iglesia católica St. Peter the Apostle, en Onley, VA, el sábado 30 de enero de 2021 a las 12:00 p.m., con el padre Michael Imperial oficiando. El sepelio seguirá en el cementerio Fairview Lawn, donde Isaura será enterrada junto a su amado esposo. Habrá una visitación en la iglesia una hora antes del servicio.

Isaura Luna, 83, wife of the late Maximiliano Rodriguez Lopez and resident of Panorama City, CA, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Mission Community Hospital in Panorama City. Born June 17, 1937 in Guatemala City, Guatemala, she was the daughter of the late Jose Pilar Luna and Maria Demetria Ortiz de Luna.

Isaura is survived by her five children, Angela Hernandez (Jesus) of Pacoima, CA, Lucila Cali (Francisco) of Guatemala, Joana Muñoz (José Lorenzo) of Van Nuys, CA, Miguel Rodriguez Luna (Froilana) of Parksley, VA, and Pedro Rodriguez Luna (Mayra) of Painter; sisters, Maria Cruz Luna de Rodriguez and Maria Delores Luna Ortiz, both of Guatemala; grandchildren, Juan, Virginia, and Brenda Muñoz, Adrian and Estuardo Cali, Berenice Hernandez, Sharon Panuco, Claudia Rodriguez-Roblero, Carina and Miguel Angel Rodriguez, and Osman and Maria Santizo; great-grandchildren; Brittany and Mateo Cali, Victoria, Nathan, and Aaron Estrada Muñoz, Isabella and Sofia Panuco, Eduardo Cruz, Jesus Rodriguez, Jr., and Daner, Henry, and Heidi Roblero; as well as countless extended family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, in Onley, VA, on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m., with Father Michael Imperial officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where Isaura will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.
