Mr. Jimmy Wade Taylor, 85, husband of Virginia Crosley Taylor, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his home in Parksley, VA.
Born April 11, 1939 in Clam, VA, he was a son of the late Vaden Taylor and Margie Thornes Taylor. Jimmy retired from A&N Electric Cooperative, where he worked for 45 years. He loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jimmy W. Taylor and his wife, Jeni, of Greenbush, VA and Margie Budd and her husband, Tommy, of Parksley, VA; three grandchildren, Travis, Joshua, and Heidi Taylor; great-grandchildren, Trinity and Noah; and nieces, Linda and Diane. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth R. Taylor; sister, Jean Parks; and stepmother, Ida Taylor.
Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at the Liberty Cemetery on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., with Mr. George Fulk officiating.
