John Joseph Greenhill

John Joseph Greenhill, 59, a resident of Schooner Bay in Onancock, VA, and husband of Blair Armand Goslin, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at his home on the Chesapeake Bay. John was born June 16, 1964, in Teaneck, NJ, to Charles Thomas Greenhill and Margaret Kenna Greenhill.

John spent his early years in Teaneck and later in Tempe, AZ. He made his way to Delaware and opened a salon, Greenhill’s of Hockessin, where he brought beauty and a much needed day of pampering to all the ladies in the town. It was also where he met the love of his life, Blair. Blair helped him through his arduous journey with ALS. John loved warm climates and eventually made his way to the Eastern Shore of Virginia to spend his last days. He found solace beside the calm bay, with the sun on his face and a drink in his hand.

John is survived by his husband, Blair Goslin; and brothers, Charles Greenhill of Columbia, SC, James Greenhill of Bluffton, SC, and Thomas Greenhill, of Monticello, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thomas Greenhill and Margaret Kenna Greenhill; sister, Margaret Mary Greenhill; and brother, Christopher Greenhill.
