Mrs. Julia Mae “Judy” Hall, 63, wife of Broaddus James Hall and a resident of Bloxom, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA.
Born March 7, 1955 in Nassawadox, VA, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy Pearl Curtis. Mrs. Hall was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a devoted member of Guilford United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, Ronnie Edward Hall and wife Annette of Capeville, VA, Teresa Sue Dill and husband Larry of Harrington, DE, David Wayne Hall and wife Suzanne of Cape Charles, VA, Wanda Caffrey and husband Joe of Onancock, VA, James Edward Hall and wife April of Bloxom, VA, Bruce Lee Hall of Bloxom, VA; sister, Connie Hess of Michigan; brother, Michael Taylor of Oak Hall, VA; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her cat, “Honey Bun,” whom she very much adored.
Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend Hyeon Ho Lee and Mr. George Fulk officiating. Interment will follow in the Groton’s Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
