Keith Gerald Amerman

Keith Gerald Amerman, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the age of 80. Born December 27, 1938 in South Bend, IN, he was the son of the late Gerald Enos Amerman and Eleanor Keith Amerman.        

In addition to his parents, Keith was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline Amerman. He is survived by his children, Scott Keith Amerman and wife Alina Keiper of Seattle, WA and Shannon Fox and husband Gary of Onley, VA; sister, Carol McRae of Rye, NY; grandchildren, Alexandra “Allie” Penland and Jordan Penland; and his caregiver, Raydean Turlington, who was a welcomed part of the family.

Keith was raised with a strong Catholic family, instilling in him the importance of faith and the value of service to others. Following college, he was commissioned into the United States Marine Corps at the rank of Second Lieutenant. Above all else, he was a kind, gentle soul who adored his family and his pets.    

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
