Kelli Christine Grasso, 53, of Onancock, VA, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at her residence. Born in Point Pleasant, NJ, on December 29, 1970, she was the daughter of Nancy and Darryl.
Always willing to help anyone, Kelli was known for having a heart of gold. She was quick-witted and enjoyed cute clothes and the finer things in life. Her wits helped her advance in her career as a certified paralegal.
She loved traveling with her fiancé, David. A recent trip to Sedona, AZ, and Las Vegas was a welcome adventure. The lights of the casino danced in her eyes as she hit the slots. After a few wins, she and David watched the sun set on the desert.
Kelli found peace sitting in the sand and watching the waves break at the beach. When she needed to calm her spirit, she would head out to the ocean, listen to some music, and gather her thoughts. But more than anything else on this earth, Kelli’s reason for being, her every hope that the world could be a better place, her light in the darkness, was her beautiful, smart, and kind daughter, Lexi. Kelli loved being a mother and her legacy will live on through Lexi.
Kelli is survived by her daughter, Lexi, and Lexi’s father, Steven; fiancé, David; cousins, Jeremy, Michael, Sam, Jessica, Elijah, and Aiden; aunt, Sharon; and her puppy, Cooper.
Kelli was predeceased by her parents, Nancy and Darryl.
Per her wishes, there will be no public service. Instead, remember Kelli by taking a drive to the beach at sunset and listening to your favorite band.
