Maria Galuppo DeWolfe, 91, wife of the late Robert Emil DeWolfe and a resident of Melfa, VA since 1986, formerly of Fanwood, NJ, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. Born September 18, 1929 in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina Galuppo.
For decades, Mrs. DeWolfe was the office manager for McDonough, Korn, and Eichhorn, where her organizational skills were a great asset to the firm. She was a devoted member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, in Onley, VA, and enjoyed playing golf with her husband, and friends, at the Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Donald R. DeWolfe, as well as her three siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Michael Imperial officiating.
