María Rosario Pérez, de 92 años, quien residió recientemente en Mount Jackson, VA, antes de Carolina del Norte y la costa este de Virginia, falleció el lunes 7 de febrero de 2022 en el Rockingham Memorial Hospital en Harrisonburg, VA. Se llevará a cabo un servicio de vigilia en Williams-Parksley Funeral Home el martes 15 de febrero del 2022 de 5:00 p.m. hasta las 9:00p.m. y el miércoles 16 de febrero del 2022, de 2:00 p.m. hasta las 9:00p.m.
La misa de cristiana sepultura se llevará a cabo en la iglesia católica St. Peter the Apostle en Onley, VA el jueves 17 de febrero de 2022 a la 1:00 p.m., oficiando el padre Michael Imperial. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Fairview Lawn en Onancock, VA.

Maria Rosario Perez, 92, who recently resided in Mount Jackson, VA, formerly of North Carolina and the Eastern Shore of Virginia, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. Born September 16, 1929 in Guanajuato, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Jose Perez and Refugio Jimenez.
In addition to her parents, Maria was predeceased by her husband, Jose Guadalupe Paniagua; sons, Rogelio, Felipe, and Rigoberto Paniagua; grandson, Jesus Magana Jr.; and her siblings. She is survived by her children, Oliva Paniagua (Salvador), Graciela Martinez, Felimon Paniagua, Ofelia Huerta (Gustavo), Obdulia Perez (Jose), and Enrique Paniagua; grandchildren, Ofelia, Macrina, Guillermo, Elias, Lourdes, Modesto, Armando, Anna, Gloria, Jose Angel, Ernesto, Humberto, Michael, Victor, Elizabeth, Carlos, Gerardo, Alma, Felipe, Rigoberto, John, Enjoli, Richard, Tommy, Andy, Dulce, Leslie, Christy, Henry, Danny, Brian, Moises, and Jaira; as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A vigil service will be held at the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Onley, VA on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., with Father Michael Imperial officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock, VA.
