Mrs. Marjorie Ann “Margie” Marsh, 82, wife of James F. “Jim” Marsh and a resident of Dillwyn, VA, walked peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 with her loving daughter by her side. Born March 4, 1939 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Marjorie Reeves Snowden and Alward Lockwood (Jessie). Margie retired from the Maryland Department of Social Services and was a member of the Moose Lodge #968 of Farmville, VA.
In addition to her parents, Margie is now reunited with her late daughter, Dawn Sutton. Left to cherish her memory, along with her husband of 33 years, are her sister, Susan Lockwood Sheriff (Billy); her eldest daughter, Debbie Koenig and her husband, Bradley, of Millsboro, DE; son, Daniel Sutton and his wife, Michelle, of West Virginia; grandchildren, B. Scott Koenig, Jr. (Allison), Christopher Koenig, Natalie Koenig MacIntosh (Wesley), James Sutton (Erin), Alex Sutton, and Dawn Lastre (Chris); great-grandchildren, Brayden, Cassidy, Owen, Murphy, Makayla, Abbi, Owen, and Aidan; as well as extended family and close friends, Annie Robinson and family, Gene and Joyce Wimple, and Sandra Sutton.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Margie’s life at a later date.
