Melissa Ann Siegel Daley, 53, wife of the late Brian Lee Daley, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her home in Onancock, VA. Born October 3, 1968 in Providence, RI and raised in Cranston, RI, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Avrum Siegel and Jean Peirce Siegel.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design and New York College of Dentistry, Melissa was a talented and accomplished artist and worked as a dental hygienist. Her passion for painting and drawing was a constant throughout her life and is where she always found peace and solace. Melissa was a beautiful free spirit, who loved all living creatures and could never resist helping any animal in need. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.
Melissa is survived by her siblings, Abbie Ganin and her husband, Steven, of Jericho, NY, Harlan Siegel and his wife, Risé, of Farmington Hills, MI, and Bonnie Brout and her husband, Doug, of Little Compton, RI; nieces, Ashley Nitzan and her husband, Yaron, Danielle Sternheim and her husband, Michael, and Kaley Siegel; nephews, Dillon Brout and his wife, Isa, Dustin Brout and his fiancé, Meguire, and Corey Siegel; great-nieces, Sophie Sternheim, Hailey Nitzan, Tali Nitzan, and Julia Brout; many loving friends on the Eastern Shore; and her beloved dog, “Bud;” and four cats.
The family will gather privately as they lay Melissa to rest beside her husband, Brian, at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock, VA.
