Nancy Doris (Hooper) Pawin

Nancy Doris Pawin, 79, of Bloxom, VA, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. Born January 13, 1943 in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Fred Debs Hooper and Maryon Eleanor Myers Hooper.

Nancy is survived by her children, John Thomas Pawin of Bloxom, Christopher Richard Pawin (Diane) of Brick, NJ, Charles Fred “Chuck” Pawin (Jessica) of Parksley, VA, and Mary-Ann Jennifer Pawin (Darren) of Greenbush, VA; brother, Robert Hooper (Carole) of Moneta, VA; sister, Cathleen Sokol of Brick, NJ; grandchildren, John Pawin, Jr., Taylor and Danielle Storozynsky, Cade Stevens, and Layla Pawin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Scott Patrick Pawin.

To respect her wishes, no public service will be held.
