Pat Bell

Mr. William Patrick “Pat” Bell, 73, of Trower, VA, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2021, with his children by his side.

Pat was born on March 14, 1948 in Nassawadox, VA, to the late Beulah “Nancy” McDonald Bell and the late Vernon Abel Bell.  Pat was a friend to many, and always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  He was happiest spending time on his property with his “many projects”.  He loved sharing stories with his family and friends about the good old days, and was very proud of his cajun heritage and his service to his country in the U.S. Army.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jessica Bell Gladding (Duane) of Onancock, VA, and Abel Patrick Bell of Trower; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Caroline Shelley of Onancock; his brother, Vernon J. Bell (Cathey) of Wachapreague, VA; two nephews; many special cousins in Virginia and Louisiana; and a multitude of special friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
