Rafael Hernando González Zamudio, de 58 años, descanso en la paz del señor el 21 de abril del 2020 en Parksley, Virginia, USA. Rafael nació en Facatativá, Cundinamarca, Colombia, septiembre 2 de 1961. Hijo de María Leonor Zamudio Carrillo y José Elpidio González Manjarrés.

Rafael era un hombre emprendedor, aventurero, valiente, honesto, trabajador, y muy alegre. Trabajó arduamente toda su vida y en los últimos días estuvo en Tyson Foods en Temperanceville, Virginia. A Rafael le encantaba la fotografía, la pintura y las artes en general.

Él deja a su esposa, Argelia Reyes Arias; siete hermanos: Carlos Alberto, Dora Inés, Blanca Nelly, Martha Lucila, Ligia Esperanza, José Francisco y Leonor Stella, así como muchas sobrinas y sobrinos, familiares y miembros de la iglesia católica a la que pertenecía, específicamente San Pedro Apóstol Iglesia en Onley, Virginia.Les agradecemos tengan a Rafael y su familia en sus oraciones en estos momentos difíciles.

Los servicios fúnebres se llevaron a cabo el 28 de abril del 2020 a las 2pm en el Cementerio de Parksley.

Rafael Hernando González Zamudio, 58 years old, died Tuesday April 21st, 2020 in Parksley, Virginia, USA. He was born in Facatativá, Cundinamarca, Colombia, September 2nd, 1961. He was the son of María Leonor Zamudio Carrillo and José Elpidio Gonzalez Manjarrés.

Rafael was creative, adventurous, brave, hard working, honest, and a kind man. He worked hard all his life, lately in Tyson Foods located in Temperanceville, Virginia. Rafael was fascinated by photography, painting, and arts in general.

He leaves his wife, Argelia Reyes Arias; seven siblings: Carlos Alberto, Dora Inés, Blanca Nelly, Martha Lucila, Ligia Esperanza, José Francisco and Leonor Stella, as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and members of the Catholic church to which he belonged, specifically Saint Peter the Apostle Church in Onley, Virginia.

We ask all of you to keep Rafael and his family in your prayers during this time.

A private graveside service was held in the Parksley Cemetery on the 28th of April 2020.
