Ralph Case, 90, passed away at the home of his wonderful caregiver, Jeanette Troyer, on January 4, 2024.
Ralph grew up in Kenmore, New York, the son of Donald D. and Sara Marie Robinson Case. He was the youngest of three boys.
Ralph graduated from Kenmore High School where he played football and was on the diving team. He then graduated from Pratt Institute after a U.S. Navy tour of duty in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He raised his family in Bernardsville, New Jersey, and lived in the area until 2014 when he moved to Onancock, Virginia to be near family.
He was a graphic designer and a talented fine artist in illustrations, serigraphs and watercolors. He was an avid cyclist and skier.
Ralph will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, as a founding member of the Liar’s Club (a small group of New Jersey friends), and for his lively sense of humor, love of French culture, and ‘scribble art’ masterpieces with young friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald Case, and is survived by his daughters, Laura Case (husband Terry Head) and Sally Case Schreiber (husband Scott); grandchildren, Jack Schreiber and Annie Schreiber; brother, Alan Case (wife Jackie); several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Phyllis Reilly, Olivia Reilly, and Art and Maria Stappenbeck.
A private family memorial will be scheduled for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Riverside Shore Cancer Center, PO Box 430, Onancock, VA 23417.
Memory tributes may be shared with the family at www.williamsfuneralhomes.com.
