Roseanna Finney Stevens

Roseanna F. Stevens, 86, beloved wife of the late Harry F. Stevens, Jr. and a resident of Lockport, IL, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019.  Born May 9, 1932 in Parksley, VA, Roseanna was a daughter of the late Henry Schley and Nellie Finney.

A former resident of Onley, VA, Roseanna was a 1950 graduate of Accomac High School.  She loved crossword puzzles and adored her collection of porcelain pansy figurines. Roseanna was a member of the Methodist Church of Lockport.

She is survived by her loving children, Marianna (Lee) Johnson, Karen (Tom) Sprayberry, Trey (Glenda), Mark (Michelle), Keith (Patty), and Christopher (James); grandchildren, Katy, Erin, Shane, Emily (Chandler), Jade (Tim), Paige (Clint), Meghan, Bridget, Vanessa, Jessica, Jake, Amber (Ray), Johnny, and Allynda; great-grandchildren Caiden, Hayes, Gianna, Bella, Malachi, Romeo, Brayden, and Hailey; sister, Mary Lou Boyd; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at O’Neil Funeral Home, in Lockport, on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at the Eastville Baptist Church Cemetery, in Eastville, VA, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., with The Reverend Peter Surran officiating.
