Billy and I played Cowboys and Indians when we were kids, smoked cigarettes and enjoyed the cowboy movies at the Royal and Park theaters. Billy was the only kid in town with the green Cushman scooter.Billy was a true friend and I regret not looking him up in our golden years. I will be thinking a lot about him today.

While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Bill, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on his seemingly small, yet precious memories. This is happens especially when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, be comforted in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, God can and will restore perfect life to those in His memory as explained in the video link below** In the meantime, God warmly invites you to trust in Him for comfort (2 Cor. 1:3,4).
