Gladys Jean Cutler

Mrs. Gladys Jean Cutler, 89, wife of the late George Cutler and a resident of Orange Park, FL, former longtime resident of Onley, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015.  She was born in Onancock, VA on June 17, 1926 to the late George Elsworth Barnes and Bertha Evans Barnes. 

Mrs. Cutler was a devoted member of Onley Baptist Church and was well known as the local seamstress, having worked for the former Glick’s Clothing Store.  She loved to travel and never turned down an adventure. 

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Moore of Middleburg, FL, and her son, Larry Cutler of Harvest, AL; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Parker, and her brother, Milford Barnes. 

Services will be conducted from the graveside at the Wachapreague Cemetery on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
