Jesse Emerson Bradford

Mr. Jesse Emerson Bradford, 79, of Heritage Hall in Nassawadox, Va., formerly of Onancock, passed away at his residence on Saturday, June 25, 2016.

Born February 5, 1937 in Wachapreague, Va., he was a son of the late Bill Bradford and Grace Heath Bradford.  Jesse retired from Tyson Foods, and was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Parksley, Va.

Survivors include his daughter, Christand Faulkner and her husband James; and his brother, Sam Bradford and his wife Betty; and five grandchildren, Elizabeth, James, Emma, Starr and Charles Bradford, Jr. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Charles Bradford,Sr.

A memorial service will be held at Zion Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend Andrew Matthews officiating.
