Mrs. Margaret Ann Adams, 85, beloved wife of William Bauer Adams, and a resident of Accomac, Va., passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at her home.

Born November 14, 1930 in Tasley, Va., she was the daughter of the late Grover Milton Wallace and Margaret Elizabeth Lilliston Wallace.  Margaret Ann retired from the United States Postal Service and was a former school bus driver.  She was a devoted member of Drummondtown United Methodist Church, and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  Margaret Ann handcrafted seashell jewelry, and was a collector of stamps, coins, and old bottles.  She especially enjoyed time spent with her family searching for items to add to her collection.  Above all else, Margaret Ann’s most treasured and precious role in life, was that of wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband of sixty-seven years, she is survived by two daughters, E. Ann A. Loukx and husband James R. of Accomac, and Barrie Jo “Pennie” Rew and husband Mark D., Sr. of Parksley, Va.; a brother, William Thomas Wallace and wife Gail; three grandchildren, William Donald Belote, Angela M. Atkinson, and Mark Douglas Rew, Jr.; six great-grandchildren, Courtney E. Smith, Summer L. Belote, Shelby M. Smith, Cassidy N. Belote, Mallory B. Smith, and Helen C. Atkinson, and one ‘on  the way’; one great-great-grandchild, three step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren; three nieces; two nephews; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend Bill Greer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Edgehill Cemetery.  There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
