In addition to her mother, survivors include two sons, William Brian Pruitt and wife Allyson of Melfa, VA, and Michael Jason Pruitt and wife Lauren of Locustville, VA; two brothers, Larry Dean Smullin of Bloxom, and Willie Smullin, Jr. and wife Lea Ann of Nelsonia, VA; three sisters, Sandra Johnson and husband Thomas, Jr. of Deep Creek, VA, Diane Holden and husband Timothy of Bloxom, and Darlene Ayers and husband Chico, of Nelsonia; three grandchildren, Brandon Pruitt, Kelsey Elaine Pruitt, and Riley Carroll Pruitt; several nieces, and nephews; and her beloved dog, “Smokey”, who was always by her side.  Other than her husband and father, she was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Pruitt.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., with the Reverend John Burr officiating.  Interment will follow in the Fairview Lawn Cemetery.  There will be a visitation at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
