To the family of Ms, Augusta, She was one of the kindest , sweetest , and strongest willed person we have known. Ms. Augusta and her sister Julia who we also miss were loyal , great customers ,and of course friends of ours through the years. We our sorry for your loss. We definitely needed more people like them in this world.

I agree with my sister, Dorothy. Gussie was a happy soul with an easy smile! I am a retired elementary school teacher and know how much my students LOVED going to the library to check out a book and hear a story picked out especially for them by the librarian. It makes me smile to think of Gussie reading to the students and helping them pick out a book! She will be missed.

"Miss Gussie" was our mom's roommate when Mom first moved to the Hermitage. Gussie was a wonderful person, had the greatest smile, and radiated a certain joy at times that brought a smile to my face. I'm glad I got to know her, and will miss seeing her when I'm visiting Mom.

I'll also remember how much Gussie loved my little dog, Bose. She loved for me to pick Bose up and put her close to her, and she would love & squeeze on her. I can't say Bose loved the squeezing part haha but she liked the loving part :-)

Rest in peace Gussie.
