Beatrice A. Wessells

           Mrs. Beatrice A. Wessells, 95, wife of the late Paige F. Wessells and a resident of Lee Mont, Va., passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

          Born November 20, 1920 in Guilford, Va., Mrs. Wessells was a daughter of the late Carol Dulaney “Lane” Annis, and Minerva Taylor Annis.  She was the shipping manager at the former R & G Shirt Factory in Parksley, Va., and attended Modest Town Baptist Church.

          Survivors include her daughters, Kay W. Lewis of Lee Mont, and Paige Ann Huston of Salisbury, Md.; a sister, S. Ann Mears of Modest Town, Va.; three grandchildren, Trent P. Lewis, Ricky Payne and Melissa Anne Payne; a great-granddaughter, Taylor D. Lewis; two nieces and two nephews.

          Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverends John Cullop and Robert Carpenter officiating.  There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
