One Easter Sunday I was headed back to the island from Crisfield. Was early for evening boat, but spotted Bill and The Island Market and rode back with him. Not sure why he was there on Easter Sunday, but we both were missing church. Sat up front with him and we sang Easter hymns together all the way home. He is Risen, Christ The Lord is Risen Today, Then Came The Morning. There are others and I won't list them all-- and, like I did, he knew every word. Our voices, keep ping time with the creak of those old wooden boards and the howl and whine of that old Diesel engine, are ringing in my mind today. Fair winds and Following sails, Bill. Dear Fern,
So sorry to hear this; many fond memories from our trips to Tangier for meetings; lost my wife, Nadine, last August. I'll be praying for you--2 Cor. 1 :4--comfort from the God of all comfort; He never leaves us nor forsakes us I believe we can say he is now with the Lord..
