I went to PHS with Greg and I always thought so much of him. I haven't seen him in many years, however I have thought of him often, as he was an awesome guy! So sorry for your loss!

I am so sorry for your loss. The death of a love one can be extremely difficult to cope with. Many have found comfort in the many promises found in God's word the bible. Acts 24:15 has special meaning for many. There it speaks about the resurrection. By means of the resurrection our loving Creator, Jehovah God, will restore life back to those sleeping in death as promised (Titus1:2). Please embrace this wonderful promise of God during this difficult time.

I remember Greg during our school years at Parksley High. We road bus 8 together. My most memorable moment of him was when he returned from Boot Camp and he boarded Bus 8 in his dress blues to go back and visit PHS. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. He was so proud of being a Marine that day and showing off that uniform. Although I had already made up my mind that I was going to be a Marine. That day solidified that fact. My condolences and deepest sympathy goes out to the family. RIP "Devildog"

I don't know the woman he married , never had a chance to meet Greg's children , but I
remember him on a cool Friday Night Football in Jr. high , with a yellow plume on his head ,and snare drum on leg. The best drummer in the band! Could run some bases ,as well.
Coach ,Joe Sue would agree. Aaron and Shirley were always there on the sidelines. I remember those times with youall. I know your family has the faith to survive . Thinking of you. Mark

A fitting tribute to a great man. I will miss Greg much, from the good advice to the "pointers" when he'd let me borrow his drum set for local gigs. Growing up, you all were my second family and I will always cherish the memories of those days. Shirley, you are a true class act and an amazing woman. Aaron, never forget the days of "Batman and Robin" and, Scott, you'll always be my brother....like it or not. Greg was the true older brother who always was there to guide and protect. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you all.

Love,
"Your other Son"
Chris

Gregory Johnson aka "My Big Brother" he was a beautiful person inside and out. He planted some tomatoes and cucumbers behind the building where I have a lot of good memories checking on those vegetables watching them give life from the earth, he watered them everyday-- Oooowee ! this is hard. Greg will be missed but I can say anyone that thinks about him can only smile because he had a beautiful one. Love ones be strong and let's just love one another it's better that way that's all he wanted. I love and miss all of you 🌹
