Terris and Family, I don't have to tell you how special your mom was but LaVerne was one of those rare women that made you feel proud. Just knowing and being around your mom made me smile and laugh. A dry wit, twinkling eyes and a good laugh. This was the LaVerne I knew. I enjoy volunteering especially when your mom was there. She would talk little about her accomplishments but I know there were many. Her children topping the list. LaVerne will be missed by many. She left this world knowing she was loved. What a legacy.
