Mrs. Martha Brown Hundley, 84, wife of the late Aden Lee Hundley and a resident of Cashville, VA, formerly of Belle Haven, VA, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving daughters and family.

Born December 20, 1931, in Quinby, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Brown and Mary Potts Brown Belote.  Mrs. Hundley faithfully served Accomack County in the Treasurer’s Office for 37 years.  She was honored to be elected as Treasurer of Accomack County for 19 of those years.  She was a devoted and active member of Broadway Baptist Church, where she was Treasurer for 25 years.  She was a member of Soroptimist International; a Past Worthy Matron of the former Onancock O.E.S. Chapter #82; and volunteered at the Hermitage on the Eastern Shore.

Survivors include her three daughters, Linda H. Pruitt, Diane H. King and her husband Bryan, and Mary Beth Phillips and her husband Jackie, all of Cashville; five grandchildren,  Mark S. Pruitt, Jr. (Melanie), Brian J. Pruitt (Jenna), Mandi Cobb Revelle (Trae), Meagan Phillips Donoway (Joe), and Ashlyn Phillips; six great-grandchildren, Ramsey and Gavin Revelle, Dryden and Nolan Donoway, Grayson Rittenhouse, and Aden Pruitt; sister-in-law, Ada H. Evans and her husband Bill; special nephew, Albert W. Parker; and her caring Guardian Angel, Rosemary Hill.  In addition to her loving husband of 55 years with whom she greatly enjoyed life, she was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Sue Hundley; and a grandson, Will Cobb.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., from the Broadway Baptist Church, with the Reverend Robert Smoot and Mr. David Boothe officiating.  Interment will follow in the Onancock Cemetery.  Friends may visit at her home with the family any time prior to the service.
