My sympathy to Odelle's family, especially Carson, Jr and to her son, Victor. Odelle and I were in the same class at Bloxom School from second to seventh grade and I took piano lessons from Carson. Sometimes in the summer (when the school where he taught was closed) my dad, Joe Mason, would drive me to Carson's house for lessons. Several times I spent the night with Odelle. We always had fun and we've kept in touch with Christmas cards and news continually all these years. She was very proud of her family. My condolences.

Dear family,
I am sincerely sorry to read of your loss. I did not know your dear loved one personally but in just reading the thoughts of condolences, it is obvious that she touched the lives of many. I merely want to share thoughts of encouragement from God's Holy Bible. Revelation 21:3,4 speaks of a time when pain, suffering, tears of sorrow and even death will cease to affect the human family! Can you imagine that? John 5:28,29 promises us that the loved ones we have lost in death will be resurrected (literally means "stand up")! Your dear loved one will be brought back to life with the possibility of never dying again. Please don't dismiss this as mere wishful thinking, as these are the promises of Almighty God. May the God of all Comfort embrace you all.

I truly miss you my dear friend. We will one day share laughs when we meet again. To all the family please stay in touch. Odell could not have been a better friend to me in good times as well as bad. I still want to send you a card but now have you in my dreams. Danny

I am so very sorry Uncle Carson for the loss of your beloved sister - what a neat fun spirit she had. And to Vic and Linda - losing one's mother is so hard - no matter what - I am so sorry. I will remember her smile and her sense of humor and am glad that we got to pass through this life together. My heart goes out to all her family at this difficult time.

Sending love and deepest condolences to Uncle Carson and family, Victor and family, Linda and family - She was quite a lady - great sense of humor, hard working and so accepting. She seemed to enjoy the Thanksgiving family dinners so much - and I always loved talking to her! I will miss her bright spirit.
Hugs to you all - Pat and Marc
