May the family find comfort in loving memories, and in knowing that God is "close to those that are broken at heart; and he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) With deepest sympathy. Barbara and Family,
Saw Pete's obit in the Richmond paper Wednesday and I immediately went back many years to wonderful memories. Love the picture of Pete...I always remember his smile and his upbeat way. Hope you all are doing well. I retired 2 years ago after 43 years of teaching 6th grade. Thank you, Barbara, for your wonderful guidance through student teaching. I often drive by Pinchbeck and think of that time in '69.
Would love to see you if you are ever in Richmond.
Love to all,
Anne

Mr. Pete will always hold a special place in my heart as a neighbor and father of my lifelong friend, Debbe. He was always so kind and had a smile that would light up a room. I will never forget his amazing gardens and him tinkering in the yard but his most impressive project was a playhouse he constructed that I was so lucky to enjoy with Debbe. He lived a long life and I'm sure a place was well prepared for him in heaven. Blessings to all of his family who I hold very close! May happy memories bring you peace!
