I'm so sorry to hear of Roger's passing, another member of the old NASA family gone too soon. I have good memories of working with him at Wallops as I'm sure many others do also. May your memories be a comfort - his family and many friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dottie and the rest of the family and friends, I am so sorry to hear about Roger, one of my favorite cousins. My mother, Illeen, who was Iva's younger sister, was very close with all of her family, and I saw a lot of my one hundred cousins growing up. My husband, Harold Wellington McKinney II (Mac), a civilian working for the Navy, is in San Diego making ship checks for the Norfolk Naval installation until December 2. Aubrey's daughter, Carole Ann Fox Cox, who lives in Franklin, Va., has been in the hospital for heart surgery, so I have delayed telling her. I remember particularly the wonderful wooden boat that Roger was building in the garage on Marietta Avenue when he was in his late teens. Quite a masterpiece. My mother always looked forward to Roger and Dottie's visits to her in Norfolk. I was very ill with the flu at the time she passed away, Dottie, and somewhat remiss in doing much at her last services, although i did see her every afternoon but one at the hospital for many months.. I would like to see more of the family. Love, Myreen (or Cookie).
