I was a longtime friend of Steve. I worked with him for many years at
different car lots,but he was always the same Steve.Always smiling and a
friend to all he met.My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting you in
Melfa one time when Steve wasn't feeling well and we came to visit.Please receive our deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss !! I lost a good friend.

DEAR Bobby and family members, I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your son. We use to talk on facebook, and I would always ask him how you were Bobby and then I would tell him about my father and your dad. Gosh, time is going by. I kept hearing that Steve was ha ING heart problems and I told him to take it easy and get well that I would pray for him. Most men are stubborn, but he went and kept having problems he concerned me, and then I heard he had died my heart felt like it fell. Cause I just lost my father and Steve was too young to go,but God must have other plans bigger for him.I am so sorry for the family cause I understand myself after just losing my father last week. I will keep you all in my prayers. BOBBY I KNOW ITS HARD BUT HE IS WITH GOD NOW......ITS OK!!!! HE IS AN ANGEL LIKE MY DAD.

Steve was the type of guy everyone loved because everyone he met, he wound up becoming their friend. A heart of gold for sure. Steve will be missed for years to come - but we will surely see him again one day. Rest well my friend...

I have many childhood memories of you. It was hilarious how we would tell people that we were siblings & they believed it. All the nights we spent with Wayne Holden talking about our future and I never imagined things would have gone in this direction. So sorry for the family's loss. Never a time passed that any of my children would see him and call out his name and he would wavy at them or talk to them. Or when he would come over. He will be talking and one of the girls would say something, he would stop and talk to them to make what they had to say important to him. The children adored him and he adored them. He will be missed!

My heart is broken... what a kind soul he was. I gave him the nickname 'Mercedes' the first night we sat at the dirt track together and never called him anything else. He was Jake's #1 fan, each week saying "he's gonna win one, I know it"... He was a dear friend and we will cherish the memories of the smiles, talks & laughs we had with him. He is in a good place now and will still never miss a race!
