I was so sorry to hear of Miss Sue's passing. She was a long time customer of mine and I always enjoyed seeing her and talking with her. She was the epitome of grace and a true joy to know. I am truly sorry for your loss.

If my mother, Nancy Irvin, knew of Sue's death, she would wish for me to send her condolences. Mother and Sue were friends since they were at Longwood together, and they remained friends through the church and through the funny birthday cards they exchanged every year. I, too, will remember Sue fondly as a wonderful, classy lady.

"Miss" Sue was a great neighbor to my parents, and I certainly enjoyed visiting with her whenever I was in town. She was always a pleasure to talk to and she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family!

Sue was one of the first Onancock residents Lynn & I met when we moved to the ES in 1982. I always enjoyed catching up with her when in town. Always kind & funny, and I am sure the other angels are looking forward to her arrival!

My heartfelt condolences to Sue's family. Sue had an engaging personality that always made me feel special and a quick wit that made me laugh. She was a fierce competitor on the tennis courts and loved a good challenge...RIP my friend....keep on hitting those lobs on heaven's courts!...You will be missed!

What I loved most about Sue was a certain, and rare, social authenticity, AND her wonderful dry sense of humor. She loved her family and was a great neighbor to my mom (and dad) for many years. I always enjoyed our 'visits/talks' in the yard - so to speak. May she rest in peace. To the family, please know my thoughts, and prayers are with y'all as you each find your own way to say good-bye to her. God Bless. Dorothy Nell
