Mrs. Virginia Mae Wilkins, 76, wife of the late Lynwood Newman Wilkins, and a lifelong resident of Keller, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at her residence.

Born September 24, 1938, she was a daughter of the late John Douglas Rew, Jr. and Ruth Dennis Mears Rew.  Virginia was a volunteer at Heritage Hall Nursing Center, and a member of Parksley Baptist Church.  She loved flowers, enjoyed working in her garden, and looked forward to spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.  Virginia had a heart of gold and devoted her life to helping others and would happily sacrifice her needs to give to those she loved.  She adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dogs, “Gizmo”, and “Bear”.

She is survived by four children, Wayne Dize and wife Deborah of Salisbury, MD, Harry Ray Dize and wife Mattie of Seaford, DE, Evelyn Joy Fox and husband Donald of Laurel, DE, and Flora Brown and husband Steve of Snow Hill, MD; three sisters, Naomi, Amy, and Helen; a brother, Jeff; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Robert Keith “Bobby” Dize; three sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Bob Boyce officiating.  Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery.  There will be a visitation at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
