I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Darlene was clearly a warm, loving person and was herself well loved by others. My heart goes out to the little ones. Please find comfort in the Creator's promise to bring our dead loved ones back to life on earth. (Isaiah 26:19; Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:4) At that time, Darlene and all of her loved ones will enjoy each other the way the Creator originally intended. You can see her again. May the God of Comfort strengthen you at this difficult time.

I don't know where to begin. We shared so many good times together to playing cards, going to the casino, fishing and camping down Burton Shores, cooking Thanksgiving together, sharing Christmas, Taking each other to doctor appointments, and taking the grandbabies to Exmore park to play. She loved her children dearly no doubt, but those grandbabies we're her eye balls. She loved her job as a nurse. No matter if she was on call or not if a patient called she was always there. I was not only a friend of hers but I became her patient at times too through my surgeries she was always there if I needed her. She will be greatly missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family because I lost my mother when she was only 56 years young and I do not believe there is anything harder in life than losing your mother. If I can be of any help at all Max, Danielle or Brett I am here for you in any way I can. I will be praying for you all. God Bless you! Love you like family.

Dear Darlene's Family,
Nurse Darlene was my angelic nurse commencing in November of 2016. She walked thru the doors of our home where my wife Barbara at that time was an R.N. at hospice with the Intrepid Group. I must admit I was reserved to someone taking care of me beside my wife. Darlene became not only one of my best health professionals, but my good friend. I learned about her children and grandchildren that she loved dearly. We talked of fishing and the purpose of life.
Last week my new book was launched, "Battle On Cancer." Nurse Darlene is acknowledged on page 61 for her quality care and loving heart. Many people will learn of this great lady's legacy in helping people like me with three cancers, all stage four. She gave me hope and encouraged me to fight and live for the moment. Please place on Facebook and other places the book so mom can help us reach 100k people with cancer and the quality care she so loving gave.
Rest in peace my dear sister, we shall meet again.
Humbly, in Christ...
Pastor Wheeler Sr.

Thank you for sharing that with us Pastor Wheeler, it was comforting and meaningful to know how she touched you as well as so many others she's cared for over the years. I shared your message with Pastor Holmes yesterday and he spoke of it during her service. May God take the best care of my Mom.. I will miss her everyday of the rest of my life..

I was so sorry to hear about Darlene's passing. I will be praying for her family and friends. Remember the good times. Memories are something that no one can take from you!! Darlene was my step-sister and we did a lot of crazy and fun stuff together when we were growing up in our teenage years. I will truly miss her and I know that heaven has gained an angel.

I am so saddened and torn hearing of Darlene's sudden passing. We had been fast friends back in the Candlelight days....Niccole I remember you from the first pic of you and her, that is the time I first met you and you were working at Joan & Larrys last I saw you :) As I am looking through all the photos and all of the love she gave, shared, created in her loved ones, I wish that I had been taken in her place. Take peace and comfort in all the love she filled all "her babies and grandbabies" with. God Bless and keep you all.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one.

God views death as an enemy. (1 Cor. 15:26)

And, he is eager to conquer this enemy death, and to resurrect our loved ones. (Job 14:14,15)

At this time period, death will be no more. (Rev 21:4) The Bible gives us a wonderful hope for our future.

I hope this brings comfort for you and your family. For more comforting information, go to Jw.org.
