Sending my deepest condolences to Sandra and all the family. Johnnie and Sandra were great friends of mine back in the day. We spent a lot of good times together. Johnnie had a way with words and could always make you smile. I know he will be truly missed by everyone.

Johnnie was a pleasure to have around the job site. He did more masonry jobs for me than I can remember. When he signed the receipts from T&W Block,he never signed his name. He always signed something amusing such as "Chuck Roast or Yul B. Stuck" We only have good and pleasant memories of Johnnie. Deepest Sympathy

I’ll miss Johnny immensely. Any day you saw him was always better than the days you didn’t. His personality, demeanor, thoughtfulness and sense of humor are irreplaceable – they should be patented. If the stories told about a person after they pass is any indication of the love people have for him, Johnny rests peacefully knowing the volumes that will be shared for many years. Thanks for all, my good friend.

I would like to thank everyone for there support and kind words if there was one thing my dad was very God at besides laying blocks lol he could always put a smile on your face no matter who you were this has been very rough on our family his death was so unexpected and anyone that knew him loved him or liked him he was just one of those people if you can't make it to the service the family is having a dinner and get together for his many friends at the bloxom firehouse after the memorial service and anyone that knew him we'd love to see you there and again thanks for all the kind words and support we all love you dad and know your watching over us now

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know, it may seem unbearable. May you take comfort that our Heavenly Father is near to those that are broken at heart (Ps. 34:18). The Bible teaches that one day in the near future our Creator, by means of the ransom sacrifice of his son, Jesus,will reunite us with our dead loved ones by means of a resurrection right here on earth in paradise conditions that will be filled with peace, happiness, and perfect health for everyone. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11,29; Isaiah 33:24)

Whenever Johnnie walked through the doors of T&W Block, we could always count on a smile,a great sense of humor and a unique outlook on anything from the weather to politics. It was always a pleasure to deal with Johnnie as a customer and his artistry and craftsmanship as a brick mason was superb. His talent will live on in the beautiful brick work that remains on projects all over this Eastern Shore. RIP Johnnie, your humor and talent will be missed very much.
