Philip Ray Wilkerson, Jr.
October 10, 1950 ~ June 17, 2016 (age 65) 65 Years OldMr. Philip Ray Wilkerson, Jr., 65, resident of New Church, Va., passed away Friday, June 17, 2016.
Born October 10, 1950 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Philip Ray Wilkerson and Margaret Ann Townsend Wilkerson. Phil was a lifelong Eastern Shore farmer. He loved spending time with friends and family and always lived life to the fullest.
Survivors include his two children, Stephanie Wilkerson, and Philip Ray “Treye” Wilkerson III and wife Laurel; their mother, Debbie Wilkerson; and a grandson, Wyatt Coleman; all of New Church; three sisters, Lynn Abbott, Lisa Wilkerson, and Kim Creasy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Van and Lyle Wilkerson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Pittsville United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., with The Reverend Maury Enright officiating.
